it seems like yet another day of holiday, but it's 2008 already. and, to be really precise, it is the last day of holidays.
yesterday was almost a full day out. and yes! i've finally went to make my IC! :D thanks to mayboo who so graciously and kindly agreed to go down to the ICA buiding with me. :) it wasn't that long a wait cause we were there at 10 in the morning! pretty early eh? :) and i spent the whole time with her walking around orchard, from wheelock to far east, far east to lucky plaza, lucky plaza to paragon, paragon to taka's kino! and finally down to VIVOCITY to meet rachel. :) i love candy empire and i love jellybelly's! :DD oh and finally, my first time at starbucks today :) but i still, do prefer coffeebean! :) my all time favourite place during exams, after church :D cause church's still the best place to study in! :)
had dinner at home yesterday. POPIAH DINNER! :) oh and had mutton soup at chomps before watchnight thanks to jason's recommendation. :) nice.
HI 2008.
i know people must be thinking i am wierd. while everyone's dreading the start of school, i'm looking forward to it. i can no longer stand myself being such a useless bum i've been during the holidays, and it's really time to get some work kicking! :D although i know balancing my studies, family and church this coming year isn't going to be all that easy, i do pray that the Lord will discipline and guide me :) cause i can really really procrastinate.
GOODBYE 2007.
2007 was an eventful year for me. it has become almost relieving now that 2007 is officially over. as i reflect on the past year, i really want to thank God for seeing me through the really trying times i went through, and also for the faithful friends He provided me with, who always stood by me in rain or shine. :) people come and go in our lives, and i've learnt to accept this. though 2007 wasn't a smooth ride, i'm glad i learnt from my mistakes and have picked myself up even when i fell.
2008. i would be lying if i say i am extremely confident to excel this year. the truth is. i am of course afraid, because i do not know what to expect in the coming long year. but everything in the hands of Jesus i pray. :)
