today. was fun! :D
the initial plan was to go to marina south to play arcade, bowl and eat steamboat! but somehow, plan B was carried out instead! so yvonne, ella and i went to marina square to kbox till about 6. wow, i tell you, we seriously zhaoxia-ed! but it was fun nevertheless:) haven't kbox-ed for quite some time anyway, it's better to keep in touch with it :D yeah, my whole day was pretty much just spent on kboxing.
but! when i returned home, mommy brought me to our new house. the renovations are almost done:) and i'm really excited about moving in! SOON. end of this month! :)
anyway, over lunch, john and i were just discussing about relationships(WOW). yeah everyone knows what happened and i talked to john a little about it. oh well, to john, what matters in a relationship might not be communication but a mutual attraction that keeps them going? don't know. but to me, a relationship needs more than the so-called love? and mutual attraction. doesn't it need friendship, understanding, forbearance, GOD...? so much of it i lacked and still lack. i think back, and reflect. what went wrong? i used to think. i was able to handle it. 'ahh, it wouldn't be too difficult. everything would be fine.' guess i thought too highly of myself. i looked at things really simply, like the simplest of simplicity. expecting that things would turn out the way i want it to. but guess not. God taught me the lesson, through a really hard way. many a time, we find ourselves going through hurt that seems unable to cure, before we finally choose to believe something. and to believe in Him.
so many shortcomings, so many regrets.
but a lesson learnt.
